Buck,

I have not eaten any meats that you would not eat, so rest assured. China's nice, although I would not recommend visiting. Being an animal here, as Peter says, would be a "special kind of hell." However, you may enjoy some of the smells more than I do. I'm certain it's because I can't appreciate their intricacies as you might be able to. For instance, the bathroom at the place we're staying tonight might lend some history to many gastrointestinal adventures you may or may not be able to identify, but undoubtedly would feel the urge to roll in or add to, respectively.

As for fowl, not much sighted. I did see what I'm pretty sure were ducks flocking on the yellow river. And I have seen mallards in some of the roadside puddles -- uncertain as to their wildness... As for the Chinese Ringnecks, interesting you asked. I just asked Jim about that, and he says he's seen a few farther south. I haven't yet, but hope to. I will point it out if some are flushed, but not like you could.

Scratches and moans,
Andrew

Andrew
I'm hoping you do not become too interculturally competent in specialty meats. While i will still love you, it may be too much for me to understand . . .
Are there any Chinese Ringneck Pheasants along the roads? How about migrating waterfowl?
Can you describe some smells for me.
Thanks!

Adam, you be careful with the 18 wheelers. Jimmy did not tell me about that episode. Glad you all are eating well, keep eating fruits also. Your comments bring back memories of China for me also. so glad you all are having fun. Stay well - keep posting - I check every single day sometimes twice..... Netzy
