Nepal, just west of Pokhara - With our host family for an evening in front of their house. Janga Bahadur, the young man next to Peter, found us and invited us to stay at his house. He was eager to talk with us in English. His mother and sister warmly welcomed us (pictured), but kept their distance upstairs. Janga's father works abroad (like many Nepalese men) for the Indian army and spends 2 months a year at home with his family. Janga is studying for a 1 year computer certificate and also plans to work abroad.
