Serbia - "China Store" - In a small Serbian village, we found this Chinese man with his wife from Zhe Jiang province running a small Chinese goods store, popular for its low prices. They, like many other Zhe Jiang Chinese in Belgrade, plan to move back to China in 5-10 years after they have saved up enough money. Unlike many Chinese we met in China, the Chinese in Serbia were a bit more reserved and not as excited to talk with us even though we spoke Chinese. While this man was friendly albeit hesitant, its interesting to note their cultural adaptation of western aloofness and as Ben Folds calls it, "The Battle of Who Can Care Less."
