Nepal, Mahendranagar (Nepal-India border) - A common sight in Nepal, police soldiers on patrol. Biking along the highways, we saw many bunkers, many road checks, etc, all that didn't affect us. It was clear, though, that Nepal had recent political turmoil before the Maoists won the election in May 2008.
