China, Beijing - DAY ONE - Outside Matt O'mara's apartment with Mandy at Dong Zhi Men just before setting off on our long journey. We lived in Matt's apartment for 1.5 months before we started this trip. Matt was home in the US for most of that time, but the last week was craziness when Matt, Adam, Jim, and Peter all moved in for final trip preparations. Austin (Matt's roommate) moved in the day before we left. A HUGE THANK YOU to Matt and Austin for hosting us and for bearing with our craziness of last min errands and preparations. For awhile it felt like we would never Get Out The Door.
